Cette berline JAGUAR MK 2 3,8l se présente en excellent état général ; c’est une voiture vendue à l’origine e n France. C’est le modèle le plus puissant et abouti de la série. Cette voiture a été restaurée intégralement et son propriétaire vient de l’acquérir auprès d’un professionnel reconnu. La carrosserie ne présente aucune corrosion visible ou trace de chocs antérieurs ; la peinture, dans un coloris Jaguar est bien lissée et sans défauts. L’intérieur restauré lui aussi dans un beau cuir et d’une teinte bien assortie estconforme à l’origine. La voiture possède la boite mécanique avec “overdrive”. La mécanique conforme au numéro d’origine, est de très belle présentation et auxdires du propriétaire, son fonctionnement est sans défauts ; le récent contrôle technique vierge atteste de ce bon état. Ces berlines qui ont eu un grand succès sont devenus des “classiques” et sontrecherchés ; les récentes ventes aux enchères comme entre particuliers attestent de lamontée en cote de ces modèles. Compte tenu d e c e qui précède et de la tendance du marché national pour ce type de véhicule, nous estimons sa valeur à 65000.00 Euros TTC.”
La voiture est sortie usine le 10 janvier 1964. Elle a bénéficié d’une restauration complète, y compris la peinture “Old English white ” Je tiens à disposition photos et descriptif (liste travaux en PJ). Également des travaux de restauration effectués par le garage PROVOST lors de sa mise en vente début 2020 (liste en PJ) dont roues fil chromé et pneus neufs Etant très exigeant sur les détails, j’ai modifié depuis quelques items pour être en conformité avec le JCNA Judging Guide (par exemple changement du lava glace ou des colliers de durits ou poste radio Blaupunkt de l’époque). 8 290km au compteur aujourd’hui depuis la restauration complète.
La voiture a été entretenue actuellement par le garage ACS (à ARTIGUES )

Regrettably due to ill health I have just sold my E Type so no longer have a Jaguar. The E still required some work which I was unable to finish, so I now have some E Type parts to sell. They include: both original exhaust manifolds together with new stainless down pipes; original starter motor; both “cherry bombs” in usable condition; bell housing; triple SU’s; new triple inlet manifold. I would like the going prices for these as I am sure I can sell them on eBay.

A friend of mine has a 1976 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 for sale. I think it’s been stored for few years and doesn’t have a CT, but seems in reasonably good condition. He did say the aircon doesn’t work but the brakes are new. Other than that I don’t know very much but can put anyone in touch if they’re interested. He’s asking 7500€ and might be open to some negotiation. It is (as far as I know) an original French vehicle, LHD and French registered. It’s still on the traditional format plates, 8764 WN 24, which will change to the new format on transfer of course. It is owned by a professional garagiste friend of mine who bought it off the previous owner. As such, the carte grise shows the previous owner with “Vendue” written across it and it comes with the Certificat de Cession.
If anyone is interested I can put them in touch and the car is located in 16347 Saint Romain.
