Presidents Report<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Park presented his report and it was approved by the membership. A copy of his presentation is available in both French and English on our website. Chris reminded the members <\/em>of the events planned for this year and encouraged members to support these events.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillippe Hugot has stepped down as Vice President and the committee thank him for the work he has done for the Club over many years.<\/em> Regis di Giulio has offered to take over this role and he was formally proposed and seconded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tim Sankey is to return to live in the UK but has offered to remain as Web Admin. until a replacement is found. The committee asks for volunteers for this role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Committee members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graham Raw has asked to step down as coordinator for the \u201cnorthern area\u201d and it is not proposed to seek a replacement. It is not planned to organise any further events in this area although members will still meet up for the occassional lunch or picnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il n’est pas pr\u00e9vu d’organiser d’autres \u00e9v\u00e9nements dans cette<\/em> zone, mais les membres continueront \u00e0 se rencontrer pour un d\u00e9jeuner ou un pique-nique<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A.O.B.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of his Treasurers report John Sharp noted the reducing numbers of paid up members and noted that efforts should be made to encourage further members. Huw Roberts noted the increasing age of our current members and proposed we should try to attract younger members. As a reward for his enthusiasm, Huw was appointed and seconded to investigate how we could increase our membership. It was also discussed encouraging Enthuiasts of the Jaguar marque, not just owners. The committee will discuss this further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charity BBQ. Some of our members with camping cars asked if there was parking space at the charity venue. Regis replied hat they was plenty parking space for both cars and campers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A question was asked about JEC branded shirts. The club hold a limited number and sizes of these items and it is proposed to publish a list of items from the JEC club shop so that members can put in orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E mail contacts. It has been reported by a number of members that they have not been receiving emails from the club secretary. There are some \u201cregulars\u201d but others appear just at random. It is proposed to look into creating a new club email address and possibly limiting communications to paid up members only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En r\u00e9compense de son enthousiasme, Huw a \u00e9t\u00e9<\/em> nomm\u00e9 et second\u00e9 pour \u00e9tudier comment nous pourrions augmenter le nombre de nos membres. Il a<\/em> \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 question d’encourager les Enthuiastes de la marque Jaguar, et pas seulement les<\/em> propri\u00e9taires. Le comit\u00e9 en discutera plus en d\u00e9tail.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BBQ de bienfaisance. Certains de nos membres avec des camping-cars ont demand\u00e9 s’il y avait de<\/em> la place pour se garer sur le lieu du barbecue de charit\u00e9. Regis r\u00e9pond qu’il y a beaucoup de places<\/em> de parking pour les voitures et les camping-cars.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une question a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9e sur les chemises de la marque JEC. Il est propos\u00e9 de publier une liste<\/em> d’articles provenant de la boutique du club JEC afin que les membres puissent passer commande.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contacts par courrier \u00e9lectronique. Un certain nombre de membres ont signal\u00e9 qu’ils ne recevaient<\/em> pas d’e-mails de la part du secr\u00e9taire du club. Il y a quelques “habitu\u00e9s” mais d’autres apparaissent<\/em> au hasard.<\/em> Il est propos\u00e9 d’envisager la cr\u00e9ation d’une nouvelle adresse \u00e9lectronique du club et \u00e9ventuellement<\/em> de limiter les communications aux seuls membres ayant pay\u00e9 leur cotisation.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
